It’s true that the best spots are only known by the locals. Guests often turn to their host family or homestay provider for inspiration. There can seem too many, or sometimes not enough, places to visit.
Other than the obvious, zoos, museums, markets and shopping meccas it’s worth considering exposure to some of the less common experiences. Observe fairy penguins or kangaroos in their native habitats. Take a ferry, a daily thing for some commuters but, an attraction to guests. Visit wine country.
There are many excellent day trip options provided by tour companies. These can be made even more affordable if you alert your guests to deal providing websites like Groupon, Scoopon and Cudo. Your Guests may never have seen snow. Some haven’t been on a sandy beach. Others may be keen to breathe the fresh air of the bush.
Day trips don’t have to be expensive, take a self guided walking or biking tour. Perusing the Information Centres also makes for a good start.
